First off I want to establish that we are NOT affiliated with GOLO financially in any way. I am embarking on this program because I have had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes since my heart surgery in 2006. After years of taking medication, and not doing much else, my factors have not changed much, in fact they have gotten worse.
A1C of 9.2 and blood sugar hovers around 215. Higher medication doses or insulin were not going to be my answer, so I am off in search of a solution. Firstly, I want to establish that I am not affiliated with any company in any way financially. In fact, since I am paying I am looking for the most cost effective means to attack this problem.
My first stop was Help Your Diabetes of Orlando (aka HYD).
What brought me here was a radio advertisement that I heard numerous times stating that they would take me off diabetes medications within 6 months or the cost of the program would be refunded to me. A cure plus a refund! My ears perked up. So I called and made an appointment for my wife and I to attend a session of explanation.
After 90 minutes of a video and consultation I must admit I was impressed. When I say the up front cost I was turned off and looking for an alternative. I am not going to tell you about the program because it is only fair for you to go to the presentation and make your own assessment. I am sure HYD is available all over the United States, and the presentation is free with no obligation.
In any event, my life is important to me so I don’t want to die prematurely of diabetes. But since I am semi-retired money is a factor as well so I started looking for alternatives. Being 66, there are not too many programs geared to my age group which offered a diabetic solution. Until I happened to stumble upon a program called GOLO. This was a weight loss program which subtly mentions insulin resistance as the being at the core of weight problems. This intrigued me, so I read further and found out it was a diet program that involved the use of The Release Supplement which contains 3 minerals and their proprietary formula has 7 all natural ingredients that comes in a gel cap mixed with flaxseed oil.
HYD had a supplement program which I did not investigate for obvious reasons.
In any event, to make a long story short, I read all the reviews I could find, ordered the product which gave me access to the website and all the information including foods that are discouraged and foods that are recommended, a dietary plan complete with recipes (which if you have investigated this website at all know I am in to), a chart to track progress as well as many other resources.
I bought the one bottle starter kit and am anxiously awaiting it’s arrival so that I can get started. I have already tried a few recipes and they were great. Like I said I am not affiliated in any way with the product so if you decide to try it I am not going to profit, but from what I can see I am hopeful the results will be more than enough compensation.
As I start the program I will be updating the website.
