This is kind of just like a basic Italian language pasta salad, but I’ meters calling it “ Pizza Teigwaren Salad” because this is how I make use of my leftover pizza toppings. Super! When you buy a jar of peppers, olives, or any other pizza toppings, it’ s always way too much for just one pizza, so I repurpose all the nachos toppings in a pasta salad the following day. And the best part is that this Nachos Pasta Salad is another one of those excellent “ refrigerator salads” that endure well for days, so you can keep munching away happily throughout the week!
Whatever you want! Ha! That’ s the beauty of this one. In my lasagna pasta salad I included mozzarella, pepperoni, green bell pepper, dark olives, red onion, and clown peppers. Here are some other things that would be amazing in this pasta salad:
Honestly, the only thing We probably wouldn’ t put in the pizza pasta salad is pineapple. While I are a pineapple-pizza lover (sorry-not-sorry), I don’ t believe it would be very good in this pasta greens.
In the formula below I’ ve included the homemade Italian dressing with grated Parmesan cheese. If you want to take a quick route and use a store bought dressing up, I suggest some sort of Italian dressing or even Caesar dressing (non-creamy style), and when it doesn’ t have Parmesan already in it, I would add some. The particular Parmesan cheese really adds a few oomph to this pizza pasta greens.
Absolutely! This particular recipe is endlessly versatile. You may use any short shaped pasta, such as bowtie, penne, or even shells. As you can use a long shape pasta such as spaghetti, that type tends to be hard to stir chunky objects into (they like to fall to the sides or even bottom of the bowl). This formula should also work fine with wheat grains or gluten free pasta.
This particular pasta salad is very refrigerator helpful and will last about 4-5 times in your refrigerator. That means it’ h great for your weekly meal prep !

Associated with Italian dressing first, so the tastes have a few minutes to blend. Include ½ cup olive oil, ¼ dark wine vinegar, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, ¼ tsp garlic powder, one Tbsp Italian seasoning, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ tsp pepper, plus 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan parmesan cheese to a bowl or jar. Possibly whisk the ingredients together or close up the jar and shake till combined. Set the dressing apart.
Cook one pound of rotini pasta according to the package directions (boil for 7-10 minutes, or till tender). Drain the pasta inside a colander and rinse briefly along with cool water. Let the pasta empty well, shaking the colander each few minutes to shake off excess drinking water.
While the pasta is food preparation and cooling, prepare the rest of the teigwaren salad ingredients. Chop 4oz. mozzarella into small cubes and reduce 3oz. (half of a 6oz. package) pepperoni into half rounds or even quarter rounds.
Chop one green bell pepper regarding ¼ cup red onion. Strain ½ of a 12oz. jar clown pepper rings, and ½ of the 4oz. can sliced black olives.
Once the pasta is prepared, cooled, and drained well, exchange it to a large bowl. Include the pepperoni, mozzarella, green bell pepper, red onion, banana peppers, and black olives to the dish. Toss these ingredients together.
Provide the dressing one last stir or even shake…
Then put the dressing over the pasta greens.
Toss the greens again until everything is nicely coated in dressing. Serve instantly or refrigerate until ready to consume!
